Fuqua 41, Fredericksburg Christian 21 – Final

The Fuqua School varsity football team improved to 5-3 this season with a 41-21 victory Saturday afternoon over host Fredericksburg Christian School.

The Falcons, who had already wrapped up a playoff spot before Saturday, will wrap up their regular season next Friday when they host Broadwater Academy at 7 p.m.

Emory & Henry 31, Hampden-Sydney 25 – Final

The Hampden-Sydney College football team took a three-point lead in the second quarter Saturday afternoon against visiting Emory & Henry College, but the Tigers could not hold onto it, falling 31-25 to the Wasps.

The loss drops Hampden-Sydney to 2-6 this season. The team visits Shenandoah University next Saturday at noon.
