Around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, protesters stood beside Main Street just outside of Foggy Bottom Vapez to spread the word about vaping — which, they say, is not like smoking. With it being Debate Day, the sign-holders peacefully demonstrated in support of a federal bill that, according to Congress.gov, “amends the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act to revise premarket review and reporting requirements for products deemed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to be tobacco products.” From left, Jay Taylor, Allen Sale, Chris Mountcasel, Michelle Sale and Jimmy Borum hold signs outside of Foggy Bottom Vapez.
