Media outlets ready for live broadcasts

The day of the sole U.S. Vice Presidential Debate has arrived, and with it comes excitement, the national spotlight and anticipation of spotting the candidates.
As CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, C-Span and other media outlets prepared for their broadcasts, Longwood students, staff and faculty and members of the community milled around campus, taking photos and waiting on news anchors and others.
Earlier this morning, reporters with their eyes on their cameras lined High Street, using the campus as a backdrop.
