Pilots of varying experience level from states such as New Jersey, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia and more gathered at the Farmville Regional Airport on Saturday to compete in an International Aerobatics Club event. Indicating the full range of ability levels present, the classifications populated by pilots included primary, sportsman, intermediate, advanced and unlimited. Pilots were judged on their flying ability as they navigated a known course they were able study beforehand, an unknown course of which they had no prior knowledge and a free course that they dictated themselves.
