Elijah H. Grigg Jr., 95, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016.

He is survived by his wife, Minnie of 66 years; son, Stephen (Juanita); daughter, Lynn; three grandsons, four great-grandchildren, and brothers, Joseph A. and James E.

Elijah served in the US Navy during WWII in the South Pacific and he graduated from VPI in 1950 with a degree in civil engineering.

The family received friends at home on Saturday, October 15.
