For those people in town attending or covering the Vice Presidential Debate who can’t take the time to visit the High Bridge over the Appomattox River, there’s still a way they can see it.

For five years, resident Woodfin Ligon has maintained a web cam pointed at the High Bridge. It takes pictures of the bridge every five minutes, keeping folks up to date visually on conditions there.  Images range from telephoto close-ups to wide-angle shots.
