Bethel Grove Baptist Church, on Green Bay Road, in Rice, celebrated the end of a journey Sept. 25 — burning a copy of the deed to the church to commemorate it finally being paid off. “It was the dream of not only members of the church, but those who have passed on,” church officials said.
