Bonnie Swanson, owner of Evergreen Lavender Farm, will be guest speaker at the Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library on Monday at 7 p.m. Evergreen Lavender Farm is a family-owned business located in the rural community of Evergreen in Appomattox County. The farm is open to the public from the end of May through mid-July while lavender is in bloom; otherwise it is by appointment. The program is sponsored by The Friends of the Library and is free and open to the public.
