The town of Appomattox will hold the 44th Historic Appomattox Railroad Festival on Oct. 8-9. Festival activities will take place in downtown Appomattox and the surrounding area Oct. 8 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from noon-5 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
