Lady JROTC team finishes first

The Buckingham County High School JROTC Raider team competed in the annual Raider on the New River half-marathon (13.1 miles) in Carroll County. A female team led by Morgan Pugh placed first overall. Push would also be named top female athlete.
Pugh and cadets Trenton Houser, John Vencil and Nathan Farmer would lead all the teams to trophy in the following events: third place, physical fitness test; first place, logistics relay; first place, rock wall; first place, rope bridge; second place, litter carry; and second place, 12-mile hike.
