H-SC, LU at SVCC’s College Day

Hampden-Sydney College (H-SC) and Longwood University (LU) will be among more than 50 colleges, universities and special schools represented at Southside Virginia Community College’s (SVCC) “College Day” event Oct. 5, 2-3 p.m. at SVCC’s Christanna campus in Alberta (Brunswick County).
Area 11th and 12th-grade high school students and their parents are invited to attend College Day, the regional college day program for parts of Lunenburg and Nottoway counties as well as all of Brunswick and Mecklenburg counties. Second-year students and graduates of two-year college degree programs are also urged to attend.
In addition to HS-C and LU, institutions being represented should include Averett University, Bluefield College, Chowan University, Christopher Newport University, College of William and Mary, Concord University, Eastern Mennonite University, Ferrum College, George Mason University, Hampton University, James Madison University, Jefferson College of Health Sciences, Johnson & Wales University, Liberty University, Living Arts College, Lynchburg College, Mary Baldwin College, Meredith College, Mid-Atlantic Christian University, National University, Norfolk State University, North Carolina A&T University, North Carolina Wesleyan College, Old Dominion University, Old Dominion University On Line, Pfeiffer University, Potomac State College of West Virginia University, Radford University, Randolph College, Regent University, Roanoke College, Shenandoah University, Southside Regional Medical Center, Strayer University, Sweet Briar College, The Apprentice School, University of Mary Washington, University of Mount Olive, University of Virginia, University of Virginia at Wise, Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia Military Institute, Virginia State University, Virginia Tech, Virginia Wesleyan College and William Peace University.
