These Fuqua Middle School students recently took office as leaders of its Student Cooperative Association (SCA). From left, they are Vice President Tyler Harris (eighth grade), Reporter Meredith Schmidt (seventh grade), President Luke Gee (eighth grade), Secretary Sophie Watson (eighth grade) and Treasurer Tanner Thomas (seventh grade). “The middle school SCA helps plan certain student events such as Middle School dances,” middle school SCA faculty adviser Kathy Andrews said. “New to their duties this year, they will be participating in reading the morning announcements and cleanup projects around the middle school grounds.
