Central Virginia Arts (CVA) will offer a “Mixed Media Sculpture” workshop on Saturday, Sept. 24, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Buckingham Agricultural Center, 54 Administration Lane.

Learn the concepts of mixed media sculpture through sculpting with random objects. Concepts discussed will include connections, texture, focal points, stability and longevity, along with other elements. Participants need to bring 10 objects that can fit in a backpack. All additional materials will be provided.

Presenter Robyn Raines is a professional artist. She is currently the campaign manager for the Barter Theatre.

The fee is $10 for students, teens and above; $15 for CVA members; and $25 for non-members.
