FARMVILLE — From 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, the Farmville Police Department, in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Health, will conduct child safety seat inspections.

The event will be held at the municipal parking lot on South Street. Child safety seat technicians from the police department will be on hand to answer questions and help show drivers how to correctly install a car seat.

Anyone who transports a child in a motor vehicle is welcome to participate.
