Donald Trump is being called to account on his comment about having Second Amendment voters take Hillary’s anti-gun/Second Amendment stance into their own hands.

Trump’s comment walked a fine line of interpretation, but it certainly wasn’t a mandate to assassinate Hillary. Trump’s popularity and his high negative poll numbers are directly attributed to his disposition of speaking his mind. Ironically, it’s his stark rhetoric that has both elevated his appeal and yet keeps him from advancing in popularity.

However abrasive this Second Amendment comment may seem, very few in today’s “politically correct” society would dare admit our founding fathers put the “right to keep and bear arms” in the Constitution for the very reason of keeping government in check should it ever become corrupt and oppressive. As it stands, Hillary’s political track record reeks with corruption and would certainly compound if she became president.

If Hillary becomes president and fulfills her promise to smash the NRA, overthrow constitutional rights by her Supreme Court appointments and wage war on the gun owners of America, she may indeed ignite revolution and civil war in America: The safeguard our founding fathers made with the Second Amendment may come in to play.
