FFA competitions are designed to use knowledge and skills the competitors have learned in their Agriculture Education courses. This year, there were several teams from Buckingham which competed at the high school and middle school level. The members spent many hours outside of class time practicing for their contest and they did very well representing Buckingham County. The Middle School Agricultural Mechanics team placed 14th overall. Team members included Clayton Gormus, Francis Palacios, Tim Smith and Hunter Tyson. Hunter placed ninth individually. Andrew Schmitt and Sherry Dorrier coached the team.
