Twin Lakes State Park plans events

Twin Lakes State Park will hold several Saturday night events from 8-9 p.m. Saturday.

“Every Saturday, join a ranger as we go on an adventure to explore our senses and the forest at night,” according to the park’s website.

“We’ll enjoy hikes, campfires, stargazing and more. Join us this week to see what adventure the ranger has in store.”

Nighttime Forest will explore visitor’s senses as they see how the night changes perceptions of the world around us.

Discover how some senses are heightened and some diminish as the sun goes down.

Gone Batty will allow for a better understand of bats and how they help the environment.

The Night Sky will involve a park ranger and the exploring of the constellations in the night sky. Participants will spot some favorites, as well as trying to see satellites and planets.

There is no cost for the Saturday events.
