Each year, the National Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts selects a theme for the year. This year’s theme is “We All Need Trees.” The Cumberland Public Library has agreed and have scheduled Peter Francisco Soil & Water Conservation District (PFSWCD) to host a program from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, for youth ages 6-12 from Buckingham and Cumberland counties on this topic. PFSWCD is also sponsoring a “We All Need Trees” poster contest with categories from kindergarten to grade 12.
