Woodscraft Wednesdays set

Basic outdoor survival skills can be honed in by visiting Bear Creek Lake State Park in Cumberland County on Wednesdays in June and July.
Four separate programs will be offered that can make residents comfortable in the woods. All programs are free of charge.
Only Basic Fishing, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., requires registration due to limited space.
At Fire Building, from 11 a.m.-noon, participants can learn about fire.
This lesson will help to provide with the general basics of starting a fire.
Shelter Building runs from 1-2:30 p.m. In this program participants will learn how to build their very own shelter out in the wild.
The park will also offer Exploring Nature, from 3-4 p.m.
Meet at the Legacy Wayside for all these programs.
