The Evergreeen Lavender Festival will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Evergreen Lavender Farm, 7169 Old Evergreen Road, Appomattox. There will be a combination of music, food, wine and lavender on a relaxing and fun day. Lavender workshops and cut-your-own lavender are planned throughout the day. Visitors are urged to shop among the arts and crafts vendors and potted lavender and herbs. Appomattox Master Gardeners will lead an edible gardening workshop with the kids. Entrance fee is $7; kids 10 and under can enter free. Bring a chair. No dogs or coolers will be permitted.
