FARMVILLE — Real estate developer Russell Harper — whose firm is proposing the construction of a 120-unit apartment complex between Walmart and the Greens South subdivision — will hold a community meeting regarding the project Friday.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the cul de sac at Cabell’s Court. Harper is seeking a conditional use permit to construct the apartments, and proposed to the Farmville Town Council Wednesday to add two entrances and exits to the complex in addition to donating 10 acres of property behind the complex to the town for community use (see page one story).
According to a conceptual drawing, Harper and Will Allen, both with Farmville Associates, showed that one of the new entrances would be located south the property and would connect with the Walmart parking lot. The town council is set to discuss the permit on July 13.
