Heritage Baptist Church, 700 Milnwood Road, Farmville, is celebrating its 40th anniversary on Sunday. Join the congregation for fellowship at 9:30-10:15 a.m. and worship at 10:30-noon. The speaker will be Fred Anderson, who serves as the executive director of the Virginia Baptist Historical Society and the Center for Baptist Heritage and Studies.

He is a teacher, librarian, historian and an active Baptist layman.
