On Friday at 7:30 p.m., the community is invited to join Ranger Kevin Koons at Twin Lakes State Park on a relaxing, hour-and-a-half paddle around Prince Edward Lake as attendees search for signs of wildlife, discover the history of the park and view the full moon. To register, visit or call the park office at (434) 392-3435. The twilight canoe trips are $6 per person, with a group rate of $5 per person for groups of four or more. There is a limit of 12 people per trip. Children under 10 years of age are not permitted on the twilight trips. Previous canoe experience is recommended. Participants must register in advance, up to the morning of the event. Payment can be made at the time of reservation.
