The United Daughters of the Confederacy Chapter 45 and the Sons of the Confederate Veterans High Bridge Camp 1581 will sponsor the Memorial Day Celebration on Monday at 11 a.m. The guest speaker will be Teresa Roane, the state UDC archivist, of Richmond. Seating is limited and attendees are encouraged to bring a folding chair. The cemetery is located across from the Cumberland Bridge, north of Farmville. All are invited to attend.
