The Prince Edward County High School varsity girls soccer team lost 7-2 to visiting Bluestone High School on Thursday.

Though it was a loss, Lady Eagles coach Calin Lupas saw growth in his players.

“Effort and commitment, it was there,” he said. “We were playing much better than the first game against Bluestone. The first one we lost (by) slaughter rule after 60 minutes.”
