Girls and Boys State representatives named

Students from Buckingham High School will attend the 74th Session of Virginia Boys State at Radford University in Radford from June 19-25. Every year Buckingham High School sends a student from the junior class to the American Legion Boys State program. The program will include sessions with an emphasis on activities such as court proceedings, law enforcement presentations, legislative sessions, assemblies and bands. Sponsorships were provided by the Buckingham Ruritan Club and the high school. The Boys State program is sponsored by the American Legion.
