FARMVILLE — The Farmville Police Department Citizens Advisory Board is seeking donations to give back to the Farmville Police Department for Police Appreciation Week on May 15-21.

“Based on community feedback, we would like to acknowledge the Farmville Police Department by celebrating their hard work and efforts during this nationally recognized week,” an event release stated.

“During this week we hope to provide the police department with catered meals, appreciation memorabilia and banners for the town. In addition, we would like to make a donation to the police department on behalf of the citizens and partners of Farmville.
