Cumberland students participate in art contest

Each year the Cumberland Woman’s Club sponsors an art contest for school-age students of Cumberland County.
Also attending the school board meeting to receive her award was Shakira Gregory.

This year’s winners on the high school level included: first place — Tiara Beaty, Zoe Leonard, Brandon Caban, Alonna McNutt, Sydney Payne, Marya Elasha, Rose Giles, Gracie Talbert and Zyaira Booker; second place — Cheyenne Johnson, Zyaira Booker, Zoe Leonard, Carlos Campos, Madeline Pada, Marya Elasha, Jahmicka King and Gracie Talbert; third place — Rose Giles, Jard Halvorsen, Wyatt Long, Kayla Ousey, Shayna Swanson, Gracie Talbert and Madison White.
This year’s winners on the middle school level included: first place — Jashawn Meekins, Alex Alvarez, William Pada, Samantha Tillett, Corey Frye, Mia Long, Zoe Mills and Juan Bonilla-Olmos and Baileigh Meinhard; second place — Annabelle Williamson, Mason Raby, Cierra Jeffers, Mackenzi Smith, Jeremy Johnson, Kristen Caleb, Mia Long and Makaylah Fields; third place — Nicholas O’Quinn, Mia Long, Erica Johnson, Ziayah Dungee, Samantha Tillett and Lily McConkey.
