NINETY SIX, S.C. — Jordan Boulton carded his second straight under-par round to finish among the top-five Tuesday, as the Longwood men’s golf team finished sixth overall to record its top finish in four seasons at the Big South Championship at the Patriot Club.

Coming into the tournament having never finished higher than ninth in the team standings, Longwood (300-289-296—885; +21) finished sixth overall and just two shots outside the top-four. Liberty (-11; 853) captured the team title, while Campbell (865; +1), Charleston Southern (868; +4), Winthrop (883; +19) and Radford (884; +20) rounded out the top-five.
