FARMVILLE — Two Rice residents face charges of felony embezzlement and conspiring to embezzle.
Tasshell Breanne Ross, 23, and Troneque S. Ross, 24, both of Rice, are charged in connection with an October report involving an employee of Beauty and Fashion allegedly embezzling money and merchandise, according to Lt. William “Bill” Hogan.
“These two arrests stem from … an employee at Beauty & Fashion (1425 S. Main St.) allegedly embezzling money and merchandise, as well as allowing another person to take merchandise from the store without paying,” he said.
“After consultation with the commonwealth’s attorney’s office, investigating officer, E.D. Ellington presented the incident to a magistrate, who determined there was probable cause to issues warrants for both individuals. They were both served on March 21.”
