The Prince Edward-Farmville Youth Association age 8-10 all-star basketball won the sportsmanship trophy at a youth basketball tournament that was held in Scottsville over the weekend. Pictured are the team’s coaches, Jason Ferguson, left, and Rhodes Martin, holding the trophy. The sportsmanship trophy was awarded to the team that referees chose. The PEFYA team was composed of players Aiden Morgan, Amierre Watkins, Andreas Noraas, Brianna Gee, Clevante Watkins, Cole Atkins, DeJuan Little, J.J. Luhn, Kam Ligon and Tanner Morris.
