The March of Dimes recently presented Centra Southside Community Hospital with a $15,000 Baby Basics Moms Club grant. The Before Baby Moms Club, also known as Baby Basics Moms Club of Virginia, focuses on providing educational services and support to pregnant women by working with community partners to establish ‘Before Baby’ Moms Clubs across the area. The program’s initiatives and goals are aimed at improving pregnancies through personal interaction, education and community. We commend the the March of Dimes and Centra for partnering to improve the health of pregnant women in the Heart of Virginia.
