H-SC tennis narrowly falls 5-4 to Shenandoah

Hampden-Sydney tennis narrowly lost to Shenandoah 5-4 at Boar’s Head in Charlottesville on Sunday.
Hamdpen-Sydney drops to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). Shenandoah improves to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in the ODAC.
Trent Singleton (Richmond/Douglas S. Freeman) and Harrison Stone(Durham, N.C./Voyager) were victorious 8-2 at the #2 flight. Andrew Loving (Charlottesville/Western Albemarle) and Nathan Horvit(Columbia, Mo./Rock Bridge) teamed to win 8-4 at #3 doubles. Hampden-Sydney plays a double-header at Roanoke College on Saturday as they battle Roanoke College at 10 a.m. and UVA-Wise at 1 p.m.
