“It Takes Heart to be a Hero” was the theme for this year’s Jump Rope for Heart.

Fuqua Lower School students recently held their annual event and raised $7,381.44 in support of lifesaving heart and stroke research. Jump Rope for Heart is a service-learning program sponsored by the American Heart Association. Its goals are to teach children the importance of developing healthy habits and that physical activity can be fun, all while raising funds to support a worthy cause.
