Piedmont Soil and Water Conservation District is accepting applications from youth in grades 6-12 residing in Amelia, Nottoway and Prince Edward Counties for the 2016 Youth Conservation Camp at Virginia Tech July 10-16. 

Youth Conservation Camp brings together about 70 students interested in learning about Virginia’s natural resources for a week of mainly hands-on and outdoor learning activities. The District will select two participants to attend free of charge.

Applications for Youth Conservation Camp are available at each county’s high school guidance counselor office and at the Piedmont SWCD office. Application deadline is April 19.
