Buckingham JROTC hosted the fourth annual Raider Meet Challenge at Holliday Lake on March 5. Schools participating were Orange County, Fishburne Military School, Brunswick and Bedford. The Buckingham Raider Team placed an overall second with trophy in the following events: first place rope bridge and tire flip; second place in the physical fitness test, second place in the 8-kilometer run and third place in logistics relay. Raiders Trenton Houser and Destiny Sutton were awarded top male and top female athlete. Rachael Pugh led the Bravo Team to a fourth-place finish in rope bridge and the physical fitness test.
