A multi-vehicle crash killed one person on Friday night in Buckingham County.

According to Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller, at 5:26 p.m., Friday, state police responded to a multi-vehicle crash in the 12500 block of South Constitution Highway (Route 20).

“There is one confirmed fatality.The road was re-opened by 7:10 p.m. The cause of the crash remains under investigation,” she said.
