The Farmville Recreation Department will host a Pickleball tournament at the Firemen’s Sports Arena on Saturday, Jan. 23.

All ages are welcome to compete. Competition will follow a double-elimination format with games played to 11 points. Snacks will be provided throughout the day.

The tournament will be separated into two divisions: Seniors (60-plus) and open.

The seniors event will begin at 9 a.m. and last until noon. The open section will last from 1-4 p.m.

Space is limited. The registration deadline is Jan. 20.
