Nellie Moss O’Bryant, 87, of Dillwyn, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016.  She was born April 8, 1928 in Buckingham County, a daughter of the late John Robert and Laura Toney Moss.  She was the widow of James Leslie O’Bryant. 

She is survived by her son, Jimmie O’Bryant and his wife, Julie; her granddaughter, Penny O’Bryant; great-granddaughter Kristen O’Bryant; four sisters, Annie Belle McDevitt, Margie Brickey, June Woodcock and Diane Flippen; four brothers, Lindberg, Bot, Irvin and Bill Lewis Moss; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Bessie Llewellyn and Mildred Murphy, two brothers, Thomas J. (Jeff) Moss and John R. Moss Jr. and her infant daughter, Letha.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 30 at 3 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home with interment in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 2 p.m.
