The Third Thursday Book Club opened their 2015-2016 year with a meeting at the home of Beth Woodruff.  The speaker was Steve Stewart, the new publisher of The Farmville Herald. This newspaper has served the Heart of Virginia for 125 years and has been a major highlight of life in this area. Stewart believes that The Farmville Herald, a community newspaper, has a bright future. Its main purpose is to report local news, to be a source for information and to be a place for local businesses to advertise. Pictured are Beth Woodruff and Steve Stewart.
