The Farmville Herald has set a deadline for all news-related political candidate announcements for the Nov. 3 election for 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9.

Candidate announcements after that date and time may not be considered for publication as news.

Candidates should contact the Herald’s advertising department if they’d like an announcement published after Oct. 9.

Those who wish to have an announcement of their candidacy in the newspaper should email a press release or announcement and a headshot photograph to editor@farmvilleherald.com.

No handwritten, faxed or mailed releases will be accepted.
