Torrential downpours did not dampen the festivities at Prince Edward County High School as Delquan Bigelow, left, and Zaria Thornton were crowned 2015 Homecoming King and Queen. Delquan is the son of Tina Bigelow and John Robertson, both of Farmville. Zaria is the daughter of Brad Thornton, of Rice and the late Felicia Thornton. The Eagles won the homecoming game in the last two minutes of the game. It was a big night for Delquan Bigelow, who scored all four Prince Edward touchdowns, gaining 273 rushing yards for a current season total of 1,039 yards.
