FAVORITE FIELD HOCKEY TEAM: The Dutch National team. They are very skillful and I was born in Holland.

FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT THE SPORT: I just love the competitive nature. I just love how it is a pretty complicated sport with a lot of rules … and you have to think a lot. It is not very straight forward.

FAVORITE SPORTS MOVIE: Does “She’s the Man” count?

FIELD HOCKEY INSPIRATION: My parents. My dad was a professional soccer player in England, so when I got the opportunity to play at a higher level it was good to have someone who had played at that level to push me and tell me how to be successful.

PLANS FOR SEASON: I am excited for my last season and for my senior year. I can’t wait to, hopefully, make this (season) the best one yet. Hopefully, we will win the MAC Championship and end on a high.

WHEN I GRADUATE: I plan on going to get my master’s in forensic psychology. Then my Ph.D. after that.
