Young people ages 8 to 17 will have a chance to take to the skies as the Farmville Area Chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association hosts another Young Eagles Day Saturday, Sept, 12, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Farmville Regional Airport.

Free airplane rides are just a part of the flight rally. Participants will experience the world of aviation, learn how airplanes work and also receive a log book and certificate of their flight.

Free hot dogs and soft drinks will be served to children after their flight. A parent or legal guardian must be present to initiate flight authorization.
