The Prince Edward County High School Marching Eagles, under the direction of Seth Taft, recently kicked off the grand opening celebration of the Centra Southside Medical Center. The band set up inside the facility, then marched outside to a lively drum cadence and lined up to perform Imagine Dragons’ “Gold.” After performing “The Star-Spangled Banner,” they marched away to another spirited cadence from the Eagles drum line. “We were excited at the opportunity to get out into our community and show them what we can give them. It’s the first time we’ve performed at such an event, and, hopefully more opportunities will come up,” said Taft.
