Tennis Community day

Longwood University Athletics will be holding Longwood Tennis Community Day on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

The event will be held at the Longwood tennis courts.

There will also be a men’s/women’s tennis alumni tournament. For more information, contact Bruce Myers at myersba2@longwood.edu.

Central Virginia Pine Knots Fundraiser

The Central Virginia Pine Knots 10U travel baseball team, based out of Buckingham, is holding a Thiry One Gifts fundraiser to raise money for its season.

The fundraiser will end on Sept. 24.
