Pickleball

The Farmville Recreation Department will be holding Pickleball on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at the Fireman’s Sports Area in Farmville.

Second Annual 4X4 Truck show

Southside Off-Road will be holding its Second Annual 4X4 Truck Show on Sunday at 12 p.m. The event will take place at Southside Off-Road & Auto Repair, LLC, located just outside of Farmville on Route 460).

There will be no racing.

However, participants are welcome to display their four-wheel drive trucks, jeeps, SUVs, ATVs and dirtbikes. Prizes will be awarded as well.

Tennis Community day

Longwood University Athletics will be holding Longwood Tennis Community Day on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

The event will be held at the Longwood tennis courts and include community play, kid’s play and a kid’s clinic.

Central Virginia Pine Knots Fundraiser

The Central Virginia Pine Knots 10U travel baseball team, based out of Buckingham, is holding a Thiry One Gifts fundraiser to raise money for its season.
