On Thursday at noon, Bob Jones will present “Deer Resistant Plants for the Homeowner” at the Heart of Virginia Master Gardener Lunch and Learn Program.

Bob was raised in Crewe and is a graduate of North Carolina State.   The Charlotte County Agriculture agent has worked with Virginia Cooperative Extension for 27½ years. 

The Prince Edward County Virginia Cooperative Extension and the Heart of Virginia Master Gardeners sponsor the Lunch and Learn series.  The program will be held in the conference room of the Prince Edward County Extension Office, Dominion Drive, Farmville.  Bring lunch and learn how to reduce damage to your landscape by deer. The Lunch and Learn program is free and lasts less than an hour.
