Georgia Regents University (formerly Medical College of Georgia) in Athens, Ga., announced that Kyerra Shannon Hurt, MSN/CNL Class of 2016, received her White Coat Ceremony Aug. 21 at the Christenberry Fieldhouse in Augusta, Ga.

Kyerra is in the Accelerated Masters Program. Her parents are Stephon and Earnestine Hurt of Farmville. She is a 2011 graduate of Prince Edward County High School and a 2015 graduate of James Madison University.
