Law enforcement officers handle a wide variety of calls every day across the nation, from homicides to downed traffic signs. Recently, Farmville Police Officer Shay Farley recovered Germaine Mobley’s stolen bicycle after it was reported missing for about a week. Not only did Farley handle the report with the utmost care and respect, but he also went the extra mile and helped her adjust the bicycle, showing her how to better use it. We share Mobley’s appreciation for Farley’s dedication and that of all law enforcement officers in the area.
